Sony Pictures still continues the Peter adventure series and her rabbit flock in "Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway". As the title suggests, in this second film Peter runs away from home, only to find that his bad reputation seems to follow him everywhere.
After releasing the inaugural trailer in October 2019, Sony has now launched a new trailer which again features Peter and all sorts of mischievous behavior. In "Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway", Peter tries hard to change his reputation, known as the naughty rabbit. Despite trying to be nice, his efforts were not appreciated and he finally decided to run away.
Comedian James Corden again lined up as the voice of Peter. While a number of other actors who also rejoined "Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway" were Margot Robbie and Elizabeth Debicki who were again the voices of Flopsy Rabbit and Mopsy Rabbit.
In addition, Domnhnall Gleeson and Rose Byrne also repeated their roles as Thomas and Bea. While David Oyelowo is a newcomer to the cast of this animated film.
On the other hand, this sequel is based on characters and stories created by Beatrix Potter. The second series of naughty rabbit adventures is scheduled to be screened in theaters on April 3, 2020 in North America and March 27, 2020 in England.
Meanwhile, the first series "Peter Rabbit" was released in February 2018 which later received mixed ratings from critics, including reaping the controversy because it was considered insensitive to the issue of food allergies. Nevertheless, this film is able to produce a profit of USD 320 million globally.
